I was born in Bangkok, Thailand, before moving to Pattaya (my dad’s hometown) with my parents. When it’s time for high school, I moved back to Bangkok again for that (Triam Udom Suksa School) and college (Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University) and also grad school (Faculty of Psychology, Chulalongkorn University).
Since my bachelor degree was all about language skills, it seemed natural to start working in the magazine industry. Without knowledge of fashion, I ended up starting from a junior writer position at Harper’s Bazaar Thailand, then editor of Town & Country Thailand, then L’Officiel Thailand, then WE Smile, an in-flight magazine of Thai Smile Airways which seemed to match my interest the most, which is travel. But after all, this 10-year journey in the magazine industry has taught me a lot, and I really enjoyed writing about lifestyle; art, food and many interesting people.
But my greatest love is travel. For me, traveling is like oxygen. It came out naturally, and I can hardly live without it.
Taste of Wander is the blog where I combine business with leisure (and pleasure). Since my job and my passion is about getting around to finds interesting things to do, where to eat, and where to go next, this is my personal space to share those experiences with you. It’s a curated list of my favorite places in my home country, Thailand, and elsewhere, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
