Zen moment at Ikigai Spa Bangkok

It’s funny that even now Thailand is still under some kind of lockdown (with no inbound foreigners), most spas are still full. And even Bangkok’s Ari neighborhood has lots of spas and massage shops, they are still full almost everyday. So we were quite lucky to get to book a Thai oil massage session at the new Ikigai Spa in Craftsman Bangkok Hotel on Saturday evening.

I think the spa has been around for quite some time now because I remember seeing its sign the last time we went to Baby Bar at Craftsman, but I somehow forgot about it. The spa is very compact with 4-6 treatment rooms, and it’s now offering discounts after it’s reopened after the COVID-19.

We tried a 1.5 hour Thai oil massage, which was very nice. The space is clean and the staff is well trained. The deco is simple and minimalistic (of course, Japanese way). Located on the third floor of the hotel, it is easily accessible. Parking also available, which is great, because it is something quite hard to find in the area.

As a resident of Ari neighborhood, I’m glad that I live here, because Ari seems to have almost everything. There are endless restaurants to choose from, cute little shops (see Punch Whale)and cafes (like Ahh Kard Dee). Really never get bored here 🙂
